What happens with preorders?

When you purchase a preorder, you are charged at once by the payment method you selected. Your book is in a queue for automatic delivery on the projected release date. An email will be sent from BookFunnel with your download options on the scheduled release day.

If the email hasn’t arrived on that scheduled date, please check your spam, trash and promotion folders before contacting us for help. 

If you have more than one email address, the book will be delivered to the email you entered during checkout.

CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE?

Effective Date: January 1, 2025

We want you to be happy with your purchase from T.M. Cromer Books. If you’re not satisfied, please review the policy below.


U.S. Customers

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in resalable condition.

UK & EU Customers — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason.

  • Items must be returned in their original, resalable condition.
  • If an item is returned used, damaged, or not in its original condition, we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from your refund to reflect the loss in value.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or your notice of cancellation.

Exemptions:

  • Digital products (ebooks, audiobooks, downloads) are non-refundable once download/access has begun.
  • Personalized or custom items.
  • Items sealed for hygiene reasons, once opened.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email.
  • If approved, refunds will be issued using your original method of payment.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except where required by law (e.g., faulty or incorrect items).
  • If free shipping was applied to your order, actual shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.

Exchanges

Defective or damaged items may be exchanged for the same product. Please email info@tmcromer.com with your order number for instructions.


Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Digital downloads (ebooks, audiobooks, PDFs, etc.) once delivered.
  • Gift cards.
  • Personalized or custom orders.

How to Start a Return

Please email info@tmcromer.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide instructions for sending your item back.


Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within 10 business days:

  1. Recheck your bank account.
  2. Contact your card issuer.
  3. Contact your bank.
    If you’ve done all this and still have not received your refund, email us at info@tmcromer.com.

T.M. Cromer Books reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions above, or to deduct amounts for items returned in a non-resalable condition, as permitted under consumer law.
